Prof. Michele Colucci.
Ph.D., LL.M., D.E.S., is a former member of the European Commission's Legal Service. He is currently a professor of European Union Law at the European College of Parma (Italy). He is Visiting Professor at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign (USA) and at the Marco Biagi Foundation in Modena (Italy). He is a researcher in Labour Law at the University of Salerno (Italy) and he lectures at several universities across Europe: LUISS (Italy), Tilburg (The Netherlands), and Madrid (Spain). He is the Deputy Director of the European Academy for Law and Economy in Brussels.
Prof. Colucci is the Associate General Editor of the International Encyclopaedia of Laws, and the Director of the Rivista di Diritto ed Economia dello Sport. He is also a member of the editorial board of the following publications: Comparative Labour Law & Policy Journal, Revue du Droit de l'Union européenne, and Rivista di Diritto delle Relazioni Industriali.
He has published extensively in the field of European Law, Comparative Law, Sports Law, and Labour Law. He is the author of the The Internet and Its Impact on the Workplace, and Sports Law in Italy monographs, and is the co-editor of L'Unione europea (The European Union), The European Social Model, L'Organizzazione Internazionale del Lavoro (The International Labour Organization), and the editor of Lo Sport e il Diritto (Sport and Law).
He is a member of the Bar in Avellino (Italy), a lawyer for the Assocalciatori (the Italian Soccer Trade Union Association), and an arbitrator of the FIFA Dispute Resolution Chamber.
