He advises large international investment funds on takeover bids and financial services.
In 2005, he advised De Agostini Partecipazioni S.p.a. and Toro Assicurazioni S.p.a in the IPO of Toro Assicurazioni shares, Findim in the sale/contribution in kind of Mellin to Numico bv and represented Telecom Italia before the Administrative Tribunal of Rome in the proceeding related to the decision for the abuse of dominant position adopted by the Italian Competition Authority. In 2004 represented Telecom Italia before the Italian Competition Authority in a proceeding for abuse of dominant position. In 2003, he acted for De Agostini Group in the acquisition of Toro Assicurazioni S.p.a. from Fiat Group. In 2002, he counselled De Agostini Group in the successful takeover bid on Lottomatica S.p.a.. In 2001, he acted for Montedison in relation to the antitrust complaint filed with the European Commission regarding the hostile takeover launched by Electricité de France. He acted in 1999 for Telecom Italia in the negotia tion for the merger with Deutsche Telekom.

He has written several articles and books on antitrust law and company law. In 2003 and 2006, he was co-author of a handbook on the newly enacted reform of Italian company law.
He was lecturer in Commercial & Company Law at the University of Castellanza from 1992 to 1998, at Politecnico of Milan from 1995 to 1998. He has been professor of International Commercial Law at the University of Milan-Bicocca from 1998 to 2001 and of Company Law in the Faculty of Law at LIUC since 1999. He is full professor of company law and promoter of the Masters in business and company law at University of Castellanza since 2001.
